How we handle your material.
Where your files sit, who can reach them, and what happens when the project ends. Short enough to forward to whoever asks the question internally.
An NDA before the detail
Put one in place before you send anything sensitive. We will work from yours rather than insisting on our own, and if you do not have one we can supply a template for your advisers to review. Asking is the right instinct, not a lack of trust.
How we hold your material
Client material sits in access-controlled storage, kept per client and per project rather than in general working folders. We use business-grade services and the controls they provide, and take measures we consider proportionate to the work. No one can promise a system is immune to compromise, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Who has access
Only the people working on your project. If a specialist would need access, we ask you first and put them under the same obligations we owe you.
Code and credentials
Source code sits in private repositories with restricted access. Where you run your own version control, we prefer to work inside it so nothing is held separately. Keys and credentials go in a password manager — not in repositories or message threads — and we ask you to rotate them when we finish.
Retention and deletion
We keep project material while the work is live, and for a period afterwards so we can support it. After that we delete it on request, apart from anything we are required to keep. Ask what we still hold and you will get a straight answer.
AI tools
Your code, schematics and documents do not go into consumer AI services, or into tools whose terms allow submitted content to be used for training. Anything covered by your NDA stays out unless you agree otherwise in writing.
Scope of this page
This describes our general approach, not a warranty. What binds us is your NDA and your signed agreement, and those take precedence over anything here.
We will sign yours. There is a checkbox on the project request form for exactly this — tick it and we will handle the NDA before you send anything detailed.
